"Nobody Knows Anything" sees DFA's offshoot imprint Death From Abroad joining forces with Berlin-based Supersoul Recording for a stellar double-disc compilation of tracks from the last two years that were previously only available on vinyl or in MP3 format. There's a varied wealth of Detroit-influenced techno (Skatebard's "Marimba" is a stone cold killer), Italo sounds, acid bleeping, and motorik electro that's perfect for today's discerning dancefloor.

Great new 12” on DFA’s Death from Abroad imprint by Swiss producer Plastique de Reve. “Lost in the City” is an acid-influenced Chicago house track that goes much deeper than we’re used to from PdR. The flip, “Resist,” steamrolls along at a breakneck pace, displaying all the right ghettotech moves. Killer double whammy!

On DFA sister label Death From Abroad comes Bot'Ox, which is legendary French producer Cosmo Vitelli along with partner in crime, Julien Briffaz. The two delve deep into dark disco territory, with a twisted, something's-about-to-go-horribly-wrong vibe. Or a slowed down "Warm Leatherette," maybe? Any which way you put it, this is superb.

Originally released as a very limited 12" on the UK's Bugged Out! label, Death From Abroad brings us this great single from the duo behind London's legendary dance party, "Druzzis Baltimore Rave Club." James Murphy has been playing the A-side out a lot in his DJ sets while "Lord a Mercy" veers more into techno territory. Also includes a Italo-inspired remix of "Acarpenter" by Joakim.

The first release on DFA spin off Death From Abroad, a new label whose focus will be highlighting up-and-coming talent from outside the US. These two tracks from Mock & Toof are perfect for the imprint, the A-side being a slow-building, funky groover with atypical DFA pulses and flourishes of percussion, while the flip picks up the tempo with an elastic bass and, yes, more cowbell.
